Good morning everyone,

Just a quick update on my situation. As you can see I’m in good spirits despite 😂 🙈

What started as a small mosquito bite on my knee unfortunately developed into cellulitis, which led to a hospital stay and 48 hours of intravenous antibiotics. Thankfully, the infection is improving, but recovery is taking longer than expected.

The tiny pinhole wound where it all started has unfortunately widened to around the size of a 50p coin and still requires regular dressings and treatment. I’m due back at the doctors on Monday for another review, and hopefully we’ll see some positive progress.

Because of this, the Abergavenny shop will remain closed at least into next week while I focus on recovering properly. There’s no confirmed reopening date just yet, but I’ll keep everyone updated as things progress.

My first non-working Saturday and what a day it’s been! ☀️

The sun has been shining, I’ve caught up on the laundry, done the weekly shop, been to the gym and enjoyed a picnic in the park.

Now it’s time to relax in the garden and enjoy the evening while waiting for the sun to set. 🌅

I have to say, having a Saturday off feels pretty good!
