O’Connell’s Bakery & Sandwich Bar

Today, Abergavenny Market hosted the wonderful Greener Abergavenny event 🌿

As the building was open, we took the opportunity to get to the unit first thing this morning and crack on with some more work! 🔨🧹

For those of you who aren’t quite sure where you’ll find our new shop, here’s a little video to show you where we’ll be! 👀

We’ve still got plenty to do before opening, but we’re getting there! 🙌🥪☕🍰

What a difference a bit of graft makes! 💪🔥 The hard work is paying off and the results speak for themselves! 🙌

Massive well done, Rhi! ❤️👏

Lots of little jars, glasses, cups, ramekins etc free to anyone who wants all/some of it.

We’re here now until 4pm - just pop by and grab what you want. The little jars would be nice for anyone making decorations for a wedding 💕

Collection in Abergavenny- No holding sorry as it’s in the way

GUYS, WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🥹❤️

Taking on the café in the market is a MASSIVE task, and there’s still so much to buy, clean and decorate before we can open our doors to the public!

We’re not asking for money, just a couple of seconds of your time. ❤️

If you could interact with this post in any way — like it, comment, share it, even give it a little love — it helps get our posts seen and could help us earn a little money through Facebook to put towards things like tables and chairs. 🤣

Honestly, what has life become when we’re asking Facebook to help furnish a café?! 😂🪑

Every little interaction helps, and we’d be so incredibly grateful for the support as we take on this huge new adventure.

Thank you for always being there for our little family business. It really does mean the world to us. 🥰

Much love, Rhian & Chris ❤️

We want to hear your ideas! Drop your colour suggestions in the comments below 👇👇

💬 Let’s see what you’ve got! Will it be bold, bright, or something completely different? 👀

Another of today’s creations was this absolutely gorgeous lemon cheesecake! 🍋😍

Lemon is my absolute favourite and this one was super thick, creamy and packed with lemon flavour, with swirls of lemon curd running through it. 🤤

I’m not going to lie, I would LOVE to be sat with a slice or two of this right now! 😋🍰

Are you a lemon lover too? 💛
