It was an absolute pleasure to make this cake for Rob's 70th birthday. We worked together to come up with decorations for a man who likes the simple things in life: family, cars, films and helping the community. He was out litter picking on his birthday! 👏 🌟

This was a huge cake! 10 inch wide with 3 layers. Gluten free vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream, dark chocolate ganache and white fondant.

I love seeing how ideas turn out and forgot how much I enjoy making figure.

It's my bonus daughter's 10th birthday! When asked what cake she wanted, she decided on Roblox. I thought 'ok, I've done Minecraft, it's similar, I can do that!' But she decided she wanted her own avatar on it. Well that was a challenge but I think I did a pretty good job! Hope you have the best birthday Ellie. It's double digits era! Xx
