Have you ever been to Polzeath beach? We went about two months ago and had a wonderful day body boarding, lunching out on our yummy pasties (check out cornishpasties.com) and enjoying ice creams 🍨 from The Ice Cream Parlour, oh, and the occasional hot chocolate on the beach 😋. Wonderful day, good food and quality time spent with the family. That’s what Cornish memories are made of 😍🤩🌞

Crashing waves break on the rocks just west of Polperro harbour on a stunning and beautiful day in October. It’s a wonderful place to sit and watch the waves roll in. Feeling privileged to have our bakery here in Polperro, it’s such a picturesque and unique village. Have you been to Polperro? Chapel Porth Beach and the doing a sterling job looking after everyone in the water. I made this photo in 2016 and just found it hiding away on my phone. We were at Wheal Coates the other day (which is just around the corner) so I thought I’d share it. We have an RNLI lifeboat station in Looe and they and all the other crews and lifeguards provide an amazing, brave and invaluable service. Hats off to all of them, wherever they’re working or volunteering 👍🏻

Another lovely misty morning in Looe. At certain times of the year and at certain tide times (oh and when the weather is right) the mist will rise from the river or flood down the valleys and out to sea. It’s a wondrous sight 😍

‪Isn’t the weather horrendous tonight? 💨🌊☔️ at least we managed this walk a couple of days ago from Wheal Coates to St Agnes. The view is looking past St Agnes up along the north Cornish coastline. What a stunning view... anyone else walked this route before? ‬
