Bank Holiday Monday 25 May! 😊
We have put together a list of FAQs for the day:
– What time does it start?
Gates open at 11.45
– How much is it to get in?
£3 for adults and under 16s are free
If you’re visiting with children, we suggest using the main entrance at Oakford. Cash and card payments accepted. There is an alternative entrance off Broadway Road near Sorrell Court but there is a section without a pavement.
– Do you take Card?
Please remember to bring cash with you as many of the Charity stalls do not have card machines. The entrances to the Ram Fair accept card and cash and the Ram Fair Beer Tent has a card machine too.
– Can I get to you using public transport ?
Please check times for Bank Holiday running
No 2: Exeter-Dawlish-Teignmouth-Kingsteignton (Fountain/Lidl)-Newton Abbot
No 7 from Totnes-Newton Abbot-Kingsteignton (The Range stop)-Exeter
No 53 does not run on a Bank Holiday
No 182 from Chudleigh-Chudleigh Knighton-Kingsteignton (Fountain/Lidl)-Newton Abbot
Rail: Nearest Station is Newton Abbot.
– Is there parking on site?
There isn’t any parking at the Ram Fair site.
Please be aware that many Retail Park car parks local to Oakford Lawn now have ANPR cameras to enforce the rules about customer only parking. Please make sure you read the Parking Notice before you leave the car park. There is a very small Council run car park off Gestridge Road and parking available on various roads around the town. There is no vehicle access to the Lawn once the Ram Fair opens. We would encourage people to walk, cycle and use public transport if possible.
-Can I bring my dog?
We love seeing all of our 4-legged supporters! We just ask that they are kept on a short lead during the event, due to it’s busy nature.
