It was an absolute pleasure to make this very special wedding cake for my nephew Max and his lovely bride, Hatti. 💕🍰

Three tiers, three different flavours — lemon cake, chocolate cake with coffee frosting, and white chocolate & raspberry cake — all brought together with a beautiful pink theme.

And the flowers? My first ever attempt at making wafer paper ranunculus! 🌸 There were definitely moments when I wondered quite what I’d started, but it’s amazing what you can learn from YouTube, a little patience and a willingness to have a go! I was so pleased with how they turned out.

There’s always something rather special about making a wedding cake, but making one for family adds an extra layer of love (and perhaps just a little extra pressure!). It was wonderful to see it finally in place at the beautiful Brickhouse Vineyard, ready for Max and Hatti’s celebrations.

Sometimes simple really is best 💛

This baby shower cake had a slightly different journey ahead of it—travelling all the way from Plymouth to Banbury—so the design was kept understated to make sure it arrived looking just as lovely as when it left.

Clean lines, soft colours, and a little touch of celebration… proof that you don’t need lots of frills to make something special ✨

A big thank you to ParcelForce for getting it there safely—always a bit nerve-wracking sending cake through the post, but this one arrived (almost) perfectly intact 🙌 (just a dislodged daisy)!
