**NO LONGER TRADING**

Hi 👋🏼 it’s been over a month since I’ve last posted (you probably never realised because you follow so many incredible bakers), but it may seem obvious that I am no longer going to be selling bakes.😕

It’s been a roller coaster of 6+ months in my personal, work and business life, and now I’ve come to realise you should always chase your dreams on your terms, in your control, when the time is right for you.👍🏻

My passion for baking is genuinely insane… WHO ON EARTH DOESN’T WANT TO MAKE F*CKING GOOD SH*T?! But also make people smile and groan at your bakes, obviously…

Anyway, I will be using these platforms as a way to celebrate my passion for baking, in blog form, I suppose.
I want to share decorating tips that I stumble across, recipes and anything really, whatever content I can shove on here so you guys still remember me,😅😂 BUT most importantly to show some mouth watering cake p**n, that maybe you may want to try making!👩‍🍳🧑‍🍳

On a serious note, thank you to all of you who have bought from me, supported me, & inspired me. The baking & independent business community are truly amazing🙏

Try not to drool too much with these Crunchie Blondies, Oreo Brookies & my gorgeous spiced Carrot Cake for my partners office😆

Here are some close ups of a wedding cake I made a couple of weeks ago!

The colour of the flowers had to match the Bridesmaids & Man of Honour outfits, all handmade by myself, with wafer paper so it was all completely edible, along with the wafer leaves. 🌺

Painted Cocoa Butter onto the cake itself to add more depth, and give a rustic design. I LOVE the touch of gold leaf & gold paint, to add a little more luxury to this beautiful cake💫

I took a colour scheme from the customer and turned it into this rustic but classy cake for a wonderful 18th birthday 🎊🎉

Four layers of chunky chocolate sponge with chocolate buttercream filling all wrapped up in a textured coating, finished off with a few beautiful flowers and scrumptious macarons (in a range of flavours) for a signature touch 🍫🎂🌷

This is what I came up with when I was told the Birthday girl LOVES chocolate orange but also the colour purple ☺️🍫🍑🟪

So I crammed this chocolate drip cake with Bournville chocolate orange, orange Matchsticks, orange Dairy Milk buttons, chocolate orange Smarties and of course the classic Terry's chocolate orange segments! 😋

Soooo, you’ve probably noticed I haven’t been as active as normal but I can officially announce that I have been given an awesome opportunity to work with the baking team at Mainies Bakes very soon to start an exciting new journey!! I can’t wait to get back to whipping up gorgeous cakes and treats for you all - I’ve missed it so much! 😁😁😁

This was a trial for my floral inspired cake range which is a lush carrot cake laced with cinnamon and nutmeg, sultanas running through it and a cream cheese frosting plus a smooth homemade orange curd. The decoration I chose is a wonderful mix of orange lily flowers and orange marigolds from for the perfect finish 🌼🍰🥕🍊
