One thing we’ve loved since opening the Cake Shed is hearing all your requests and flavour suggestions, so this week’s menu has been built around the things YOU have been asking for most! 😍

From Kinder Brownies and Milkybar Blondies to Coffee & Walnut Cake and our giant stuffed cookies, we’ve tried to bring back some favourites whilst adding a few treats we know you’ll love! ✨

Honestly, the obsession is getting out of hand at this point 🤤🤤🤤

Wipe Out Stage… But It’s Okay! 💫

Can we just take a minute to talk about how much things cost these days?! 😭‼️

I popped to the shop this morning and nearly fell over… a pack of nuts was £3.75! THREE POUNDS SEVENTY FIVE! At this point I’m expecting them to come with their own mortgage agreement. 🥜😂

In all seriousness though, it’s tough out there. I’m seeing so many businesses announcing closures lately and it’s genuinely heartbreaking. The reality is that no matter how hard you work, how many hours you put in, or how much passion you have, the rising costs affect everyone.

We’re incredibly grateful that we have other income alongside Snack Shack because I honestly don’t know how some small businesses are managing right now. Behind every business page is a real person trying their absolute best, often while juggling a hundred other things at the same time.

This last week has probably been one of the craziest we’ve ever had with taking way to much on, The stress, the pressure, the endless lists… it’s been a lot. So this morning, having a rare “quiet” few hours felt like the biggest luxury in the world, and I’m genuinely grateful for it.

For anyone else feeling the pressure right now, whether it’s business, work, family or just life in general… you’re not alone. ❤️
