Thank you to everyone who came along to our cream tea event, your support and donations are greatly appreciated.

Today is our Breast Cancer Charity Cream Tea event Impero Lounge Portishead.

Jam is freshly homemade (strawberry and raspberry), scones are baking (canā€™t get fresher than that), we have plenty of cream, gift bags made and lots of raffle prizes gathered.

We have made more than enough so can squeeze a few more people in if you have no last minute plans, please do message us in advance though so we can ensure we donā€™t over book.

Raffle prizes:
*Ā£50 for The Royal Portishead
*2 x 1 hour tickets for Ninja Warrior Cribbs including gloves and socks
*Ā£25 Vue voucher
*Bottle of white wine
*Bottle of champagne
*Bottle of rose champagne

Boxed and ready for delivery. Now we appreciate this is not the most exciting looking cake but it does become an amazing prop. For the last few years we have been working with the very talented Kate Kirkby Photography - Newborn | Maternity | Family , we supply cakes for her cake smash photo sessions, this is where she gives the cake to a baby and photographs the destruction and consumption of the cake, being babies you never know what you will get šŸ˜‚. Only a week to go until our first amazing charity cream tea event with all proceeds going to breast cancer.

The Impero Lounge have been very generous in donating drinks, We will be making our market famous scones and the jam. Gluten free and vegan options available

We have raffle prizes on the day ranging from chocolate and bottles, 2 x tickets to Ninja Warrior Cribbs including sock & glove packs to a Ā£50 voucher kindly donated by The Royal Portishead

We have limited spaces remaining and we can offer great discounts on multiple ticket purchases

Good morning everyone

Due to the heat, we've made the difficult decision to not bake for this months market.

Most of you know that in order to prepare for the market we end up baking for a few days solid. Having the oven on all day is bad enough but we noticed last month that it was affecting the quality of the bakes we are delivering as it was just too hot for things to set.

The next few days are due to be even warmer than last month so we have made the decision not to bake.

This is difficult for us as we love the market and love bringing you the bakes that you enjoy, but we've always said that where quality is affected we won't compromise.

We will still be at the Market (as we organise and run the whole thing), but at least this month we will be able to enjoy it as patrons and get to chat with all of you!

Looking forward to being back when it's slightly cooler šŸ„µ

Many of you will know that due to personal circumstances we are currently unable to commit to doing custom cakes.

However, this one is slightly different. Two years ago we signed up to a cause that provides cakes to children that otherwise wouldnā€™t have one on their birthday.

We were contacted to do our first cake last week and we strongly believe that EVERYONE should have cake on their birthday, therefore we couldnā€™t turn down the opportunity to make this little girlā€™s day extra special and make this cake for her.

We still have a few tickets available for our cream tea event on 23rd August
We will have an option of homemade plain or fruit scones and two flavours of homemade jam, strawberry obviously and another TBC

We have started to receive some amazing raffle prizes including:
*Ā£50 voucher for The Royal Portishead
*1hr session for Ninja Warrior Cribbs, including a sock and glove pack

There will be other prizes up for grabs and with limited spaces your chances of winning a prize are a lot higher

Ticket Prices are:

Not sure what just happened

That was the best market ever, thank you to everyone who came down, and there were a lot of you.

A massive thank you to everyone who queued patiently, that was possibly our longest queue and we didnā€™t see the end of it for around 2hrs solid, technical issues didnā€™t help some again thank you for bearing with us

We have really missed the buzz of market day and it was amazing seeing all those familiar faces
