This really makes me scream!!
Organic should go further than a dietary concern.. it is a movement, a statement to protect ourselves and the world around us.. So WHY on Earth do you choose unsustainable choices for your packaging? We know that nearly everyone turns their back on soft plastic packaging recycling, because it is too 'difficult' to deal with π₯± And here we have onions in lethal plastic netting, and a pear box lined with soft plastic.. why?! Look at the potatoes here? A paper bag, perfectly sufficient! Onions were paper bound until recently there was a U turn.. explain please?
Well done for choosing compostable, I know you wobble from time to time, but keep at it!! Your ethics can prevail! You can change the food system!
But we need the Biggies to come on board, big time.
I choose organic to protect my children's health and mine, but also to send a message to the big manufacturers that I don't want anyone to be intoxicated by synthetic and carcinogenic substances, either on their food or the packaging that surrounds it.
But this is not about organic, this is about caring for others, helping people to have a safe future, standards should be high, you and me are 'others' and we all deserve it.
