🍄🤎 A little taste of home, made with love.

After taking a little break from baking, I’ve been thinking about bringing back something truly special my homemade mushroom-shaped biscuits!

These traditional Lithuanian treats are made using a family recipe shared by my cousin. It took time, patience and lots of practice to learn how to make them just right, which makes them even more special to me. ❤️

A Lithuanian Collection: the desserts I grew up with, turned into macarons.

🍯 Medutis: honey mascarpone cream with honey cake crumbs
🍫 Tinginys: chocolate ganache with biscuit pieces
🍓 Varškės pyragas: cheesecake filling with a berry centre
🌲 Šakotis: white chocolate cream with crispy cake pieces
🥐 Napoleonas: vanilla cream with caramelised puff pastry crumbs

I didn’t think I’d miss this much 💗

Two years of macarons, markets, sold-out tables and a lot of cracked shells too 😅 I’ve paused baking for now to focus on my psychology studies and my three boys, but scrolling through these made my heart a little heavy.
