Hi everyone 💜

I’m so sorry, but after my last update I still won’t be able to bring any bakes to you for a few weeks yet.

My littlest one here at Bake Me Happy has unfortunately broken his tibia and is now in a full cast with no weight bearing for the next 4 weeks, so he needs me a lot more right now.

As much as I love baking for you all, being mum comes first for the moment. Thank you so much for your understanding and support—it honestly means the world to me.

I’ll keep you updated and can’t wait to be back with lots of treats as soon as we’re able 💜

Cake Shed Update 💜

With the rising cost of everything at the moment, I’ve always tried to keep my bakes as affordable as possible. However, to keep the cake shed running the way it is, I would need to increase prices — and that just doesn’t sit right with me when I know so many are feeling the pinch right now.

Alongside that, not all bakes are guaranteed to sell, which means the cost of ingredients and the time spent baking isn’t always covered.

So, I’ve been having a rethink behind the scenes and looking at ways I can continue bringing you delicious bakes, but in a way that works for both of us 💭

New idea…

Each Sunday, I’ll release a menu of available bakes.
You can choose exactly what you’d like — as many or as little as you want.

🧁 Orders placed by Wednesday
💜 Payment upfront to secure your bakes
📦 Ready for collection Friday afternoon

This way, everything I bake is made with purpose, reduces waste, and ensures you get exactly what you want 🙌

I’m so grateful for every single order and all the continued support from our amazing local community. Supporting small local businesses really does make such a difference and I appreciate it more than you know.

Last chance to grab a £10 mystery cake bag today – once they’re gone, they’re gone! 🍰

After today, the cake shed will be closed for the foreseeable future.

I absolutely love bringing the shed to the community, but with rising ingredient and packaging costs — plus the time it takes to bake, decorate and label everything — it just isn’t sustainable when sales can’t be guaranteed.

💡 What’s next?
I’ll be moving back to weekly treat boxes, but for these to work I’ll need all slots to be filled each week — so keep your eyes peeled for those launching soon.

✨ Don’t worry though!
I’ll still be:
• Taking orders for giant cookies
• Offering cupcakes
• Working on a couple of new celebration ideas I’m hoping to launch over the next few weeks 👀🎉

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported the cake shed — it truly means more than you know 💜 hopefully we will be able to open the shed door once again once the weather is better and sales seem more stable
