Christmas is only a couple of months away and a Christmas cake benefits from regular feeding and maturing 😊😊.

I am now open for orders for Christmas cakes for 2025. I have a regular Christmas cake, gluten free Christmas cake and a vegan Christmas cake 🌱 on offer this year. I will also have a dairy/soy free cake. All of these cakes contain nuts and alcohol but can be made without if people don’t like/can’t have. I also do an extra boozy version. My price lists here include covering with marzipan (this can also be left out if required) and fondant or royal icing).

I can decorate the cakes for a small additional fee. I have put some photos of some popular designs but I am happy to do any design you wish.

I am also adding a Clootie Dunpling to my offering this year. This can be gluten free or vegan at no addional cost as well.

Now before anyone gets mad at me for mentioning the C word …… Tesco have had their Christmas wares on the shelves for more than a week!!!

Testing a new recipe for vegan red velvet cupcakes. These are light and spongy and delicious. I am really keen to develop some great “free from” recipes which don’t feel compromised. These really hit that 👌🏻👌🏻.

To those of you who signed up to be Guinea pigs 🐹 for some new recipes I have been trying out, your goodies are winging their way to you as we speak. Dundee Cake and a selection of macarons. Macarons are pear and stem ginger 🫚, raspberry and almond, beetroot and raspberry and lime and coconut. Can’t wait for your feedback. 🍰🎂

I can confirm, after vigorous testing that ginger macaron shells are both delicious and moreish. Can’t wait to test with the pear filling!!! ❤️❤️🫚🍐
