Up at the crack of dawn on the daily, prepping, crimping and brewing. 🧚

These weekday mornings have to go down as one of our faves in the summer. The street awakens early, with the the locals setting up for the day, and the first of the morning coffee searchers pop in for their favourite caffeine kick start. By mid morning the towns a buzz and life on the street we call home is sweet.

A we continue wait for the sun 🌞 (rumours of mad good one coming next week) We settle in, wrap are hands round a true taste of Cornwall, and sit back as a complete sense of calm rushes over.

We like simple things here at the shop, great music, cult films, top people and anything baked at 180 for the optimal amount of golden lovely.

P.s don’t worry you lot, our pasties are packed with the beefy goodness. Much like us in the Cornish mizzle, it was all tucked up in the warm veg filled pockets in this one.

Friday at the shop. 🥐🧚

Struggling with the week of damp weather way out west?.... Great news! We’ve got shelves stacked with the good stuff (both hot & cold) to brighten your day.

Two of our pastry pockets of joy include our recently returning Apple crumble and fruity flavoured classics. They’re perfect for any weather mid morning treat, great for a afternoon snack in the office, or the perfect present for someone needing a pick-up.

Be kind and share people, or just go for one each... it’s Friday after all.

Shout out to the king of sausage rolls! 👑

Over time we’ve been perfecting our reicpe of our famous big brunch chaser or light lunch snacker.

Think perfectly seasoned, juicy sausage meat filling, golden flaky pastry round the edge (be sure to eat outside for crummage) and the golden egg washed glazed to catch your eye, whilst chilling in the hot hold.

Question… how many bits are you seeing off one of this little numbers? Rennies sold separately.

TWO FRUITY FAVES RETURN TO PZ!! 🥐🍓🍏

That’s right gang, this week we’re packing a double punch with the return of two OG’s just in time for sunshine season. 🌞

First up, is the return to the Classic croissant shape for the Apple crumble. You love it we love it, it’s never crumbled under pressure and it’s back with a bang.

Second is our straight up fruity salad style croissant. When it comes to the hot season, we know you like a refresh so keep it light and be sure to choose right, we’re talk fresh fruit buttery smooth custard and a dam right delicious croissant base.
