A beautiful wedding day for Robert & Olivia

Their bespoke three-tier wedding cake, finished in crisp white fondant with a delicate gold lustre edge and adorned with pretty handmade sugar flowers in soft blush, ivory and pale blue including snap dragons (a first for me).

Delivered safely today to the beautiful , Little Musgrave, ready to take its place at their celebration.

Paige & Jack’s bespoke wedding cake at Crow Wood Hotel & Spa.

a modern creation of delicate rice paper sails, handcrafted sugar roses, moulded rose details, edible gold leaf and touches of gold lustre – all brought together from the original design we created for their big day.

And the sweetest reaction when Paige and Jack came into the room as I was setting up…

“It is so much better than I thought it was going to be.”

That’s exactly what I hope for when I create a bespoke wedding cake – taking an idea from a sketch and turning it into something even more beautiful on the day.

And, of course, it had to taste as good as it looked…

FROM SKETCH TO WEDDING CAKE...

Today I had the pleasure of delivering this beautiful wedding cake to the lovel Lodore Falls Hotel, Borrowdale for Luke & Rebecca.

This one was particularly special to create, as I had the opportunity to take the ideas we discussed and turn them into a bespoke design — from the initial sketch through to the finished cake.

And I think the sketch-to-cake transformation worked out perfectly!

The four-tier design featured white fondant, delicate handmade sugar flower arrangements, rose quartz crystals nestled amongst the flowers, and a Perspex tier illuminated with tiny fairy lights. Rebecca and Luke's initials cake charm completed the design on the centre tier.

It was also a particularly enjoyable delivery for me. The Lake District is one of my favourite places, and it holds a very special place in my heart as it is where my husband and I were married over 20 years ago. So, a trip to the Lakes to deliver a wedding cake is always a pleasure.

Thank you Luke & Rebecca for trusting me to create such an important part of your wedding day. It has been a pleasure working with you, and I wish you both a lifetime of happiness together.

A celebration of natural beauty.

Created for Laura & Robert’s wedding at Mitton Hall and finished with delicate edible flowers from Nurtured in Norfolk.

My signature style may be elegant fondant cakes with lifelike sugar flowers and fine royal icing, but every wedding cake is designed around the couple. Whether that’s fresh florals, handcrafted sugar work or something entirely unique, the final design should always feel authentically yours.

Congratulations to the lovely F&R on your marriage! 🤍

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of delivering and setting up your vintage-inspired wedding cake at the beautiful Browsholme Hall & Tithe Barn.

It was such a privilege to see you both as you were given a private preview of your reception room before your guests arrived. Watching you take in every beautiful detail, including your wedding cake, was a truly special moment.

One of my favourite details was the lace beneath the cake stand... beautifully repurposed from the bride's own wedding dress, making the cake display even more personal and meaningful.

Today, F returned the cake stand and surprised me with the most beautiful arrangement of flowers from their wedding day as a thank you. Such a thoughtful gesture and one that I will remember for a long time.

Thank you both for choosing me to create your wedding cake and trusting me to play a small part in such a wonderful celebration. Wishing you both a lifetime of love, happiness and beautiful memories together. 🤍
