White chocolate ganache 3 tier wedding cake in a heat wave (the stress was real), forgotten sugar flowers - 66 miles added on to my 243 miles journey to collect them. Thankfully my insulated box, gel freezer packs and duvet worked perfectly.

The drama continued with my car breaking down (serious) had to get it recovered, luckily my sister leant me her car to make the final delivery.

Looking at the photos can you tell all this trauma occurred during the delivery?

I am a professional, will always ensure your wedding cake takes priority over everything and arrives perfectly and in one piece.

FROM SKETCH TO STUNNING WEDDING CAKE IN SIX DAYS

When A&W, a couple getting married at the beautiful Wennington Hall, needed their dream wedding cake with just one week to go… we said yes.

Here’s how the magic happened:

🤍 Tuesday — Met with A (bride), sketch delivered that same evening
🤍 Wednesday — Design approved & flavours confirmed (late, but confirmed!)
🤍 Thursday — Full payment received, straight to baking & filling — and sugar flowers begun
🤍 Friday — Ganached, covered & decorating underway
🤍 Saturday — Final decorations complete, every sugar flower hand-crafted
🤍 Sunday — Delivered to Wennington Hall in the most glorious spring sunshine

No shortcuts. No compromises. Just a whole lot of dedication and sugar.

A huge shout out to the incredible Jane & Jason at Flower Design Events whose floral installations were truly breathtaking — the perfect setting for the couples outdoor ceremony. It was also so lovely to meet Susan Lambert Harp while I was photographing the beautiful venue.

CONGRATULATIONS to T&H who were married today and had their reception at Sparth House.

Such a pleasure to make their wedding cake with hand made sugar flowers and foliage, edible gold leaf and two little thank you gift cakes for their mums to match their wedding cake.

T1 - Lightly spiced carrot cake
T2 - Tasty signature vanilla
T3 - Delightful salted caramel

The last photo shows my lovely supplier thank you gift bag that was left for me when delivered the wedding cake - how lovely! Thank you T&H 😊
