A huge thank you to J & J Graham of Penrith for their wonderful donation of £259.77 to Beep Doctors.
What makes this gift so special is where it came from. J & J Graham reviewed the small balances left on expired gift cards as of December 2025 (often just a few pence, sometimes a little more) and instead of letting that money simply disappear, they chose to turn it into something that can make a real difference in our community by donating it to our charity.
Even better, they plan to do this every year, donating those unspent balances to a worthy local charity.
We think this is such a brilliant idea 👏
No extra cost to customers. No fundraising campaign. Just a business asking, “Could money that would otherwise go unused do some good?”
Imagine if more businesses did the same.
Those forgotten pennies and small balances may seem insignificant on their own, but together they can make a meaningful difference to local charities and the people they support.
