Good morning,
There's lots going on outside the shop but we are open today. New menu. We have A lovely fresh sandwich. Heritage Tomato, whipped smoked brie, hot honey and rocket with a lemon dressing.. The doughnut this month is Chocolate cremeux with praline and crushed candied hazelnuts.

Good morning,
We have a new Focaccia today. Confit garlic, sun-dried tomato and pickled chilli. It's delicious, even if I do so myself😀.
We've got Sourdough loaves a plenty, cinnamon buns, Belgian buns, croissants, pain au chocolate.
It's the last day for the honey cake and the pulled pork sandwich.

The Fat Batard Bakery is an award-winning artisan bakery, renowned for its handcrafted sourdough, pastries and sweet bakes. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced baker who shares our passion for quality and craftsmanship.
This role will focus primarily on cake production, while also playing an important part in pastry production. You'll be joining a close-knit team where every day is different, and where attention to detail and pride in your work are valued.

An experienced baker with professional bakery experience.
Confident producing a wide range of cakes and sweet bakes.
Experience in pastry production.
Passionate about quality, consistency and craftsmanship.

Good morning, Last day of the week as we are closed for Beltane Saturday.

Happy Pastry day at The Fat Batard.
We have Croissants, Pain au Chocolate, Almond Croissant and cruffins.
We also have our super popular Pulled pork Brioche made with Forsyths of Peebles Pork, slow roasted and mixed with our own make BBQ sauce, garlic mayo and pickled veg. I love a sandwich like this cos it covers all the flavours and textures.
We have cinnamon knots, brioche rolls, cookies, lion bar Rocky Road, Sourdough Brownie, lemon drizzle, vanilla slice..

The pastries are looking and tasting top drawer today. Croissant on point. Honey cake galore, Bbq sandwiches, Rola Mor sausage rolls, cinnamon knots, Belgian buns, vanilla slice. What have I missed. What else works you like to see on our shelves?

Good morning,
What a horrible day for June. Hopefully it's raining itself out for next week 🔴⚪🔴⚪🔴
We have plenty in the shop today. We have made exrea BBQ Sandwiches so we will have some for over lunchtime 😀. We have Smoked tomato, pepper and butter bean pasties, tons of Sourdough, vanilla slice, Lion bar rocky road,pecan pie and so much more.

Good morning. The brightness of our passion fruit tart doesn't match the weather. Add a bit of zing in your life this morning.
The Honey cake is back ( We've had so many requests for this to come back over the last month or so) with 28 layers in total. What a job .
We have lots of choice of bread today including, for the first time for us, a Chocolate, cranberry and raisin sourdough. Made with chocolate.
We are open, the shelves are full, but not for long 😀😀
