🎂🩷 ONE YEAR OF THE TREAT SHED 🩷🎂

I honestly can’t believe I’m writing this… The Treat Shed is officially 1 year old 🥹✨

This is such an emotional post for me.

In 2024, my mum passed away very unexpectedly 💔

Losing her changed my life and taught me one of the biggest lessons I’ve ever learnt…

✨ Life is short.
✨ Life is precious.
✨ Tomorrow is never promised.

Many of you know The Treat Shed, but my baking journey started long before that. Back in 2021, I started Kimmyzcupcakes 🧁🩷 making cakes, cupcakes and treat boxes from home. This year marks 5 years of my little business, which feels so surreal.

For months I dreamed of having my own Treat Shed after seeing cake sheds and treat sheds online. It took a lot of planning, but after losing my mum I realised I didn’t want to keep saying “one day”.

So I took the leap and created The Treat Shed 🩷✨

What started as a little shed and a dream has become something I never imagined.

Over the last year I’ve met so many amazing people, gained confidence in myself and built friendships through something I love doing 🥹

Thank you for every visit, every purchase, every share, every recommendation and every kind message. Your support has honestly meant the world.

I wish more than anything that my mum could see what The Treat Shed has become today. I’d love to tell her about the sell-outs, the regular customers and the amazing community that’s been built around this little shed 🩷

I’d like to think she’d be proud.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making The Treat Shed’s first year so special 🫶✨

This week has been incredible and I cannot thank you all enough for the love and support you’ve shown The Treat Shed. Every person who has visited, shared a post, recommended me to a friend, left a lovely comment or bought a treat has helped make this little dream possible 🫶✨

What makes this even more emotional is that on Tuesday, The Treat Shed celebrates its 1st Birthday 🎂🤎

I genuinely cannot believe it’s been a whole year since I first opened the shed. A year ago I had no idea if anyone would come, if people would like my bakes, or if my little honesty shed would even work.

Fast forward a year and we’ve just sold out completely. I’ve met so many amazing people, welcomed so many regular customers and created something I never imagined would grow the way it has 🥹

There have been early mornings, late nights, lots of baking, plenty of learning and the occasional bit of stress 😅 but every single moment has been worth it.

Thank you for supporting a small local business. Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for making The Treat Shed what it is today 🤎
