I took the pups 🐶 on a lovely walkies 🐾 to the so called spooky Berry Pomeroy Castle 🌳🏰 and Rosie 💖 couldn’t believe her eyes 👀 at spotting a ghost 👻 on the way 😆 They all had to stay on lead the majority of the walk🚶‍♀️as there were loads of pheasants scurrying around and i wish I’d taken an extra extendable lead for Rosie 💖 but my Toby 💙 was quite the gentleman 😊and let her have his for some of the walk. They were all on high alert, sniffing, listening and looking 👀 for all the pheasants and Buster 💙 and Toby 💙 found a headless 🥴 squirrel 🐿️ on the bank 🌿and nosy Rosie 💖 had to come over and check it out as well 🙄 Bobby 💙 and Rosie 💖 enjoyed their little paddles 💦 in the streams and the lake💧🦆and then we came back up through the woods🌲 Toby 💙 was clambering 🐾 around on the tree stumps 🪵 and it turned out someone had left bread 🍞 for the birds 🐦 on them, i pulled him away but the cheeky boy managed to sneak in a moral 😋 when i wasn’t looking, anyone would think he’d never been fed him. On the way back Rosie 💖 knows I’m scared 😳 of spiders 🕷️ but she had to stop to show me some in the cobwebs 🕸️ It was a great outing 🐾 and nice to go to somewhere different.

The pups 🐶 had a lovely trip to Hollicombe beach 🌊🦀🐚🎣🚢⚓️this morning 🌦️ My Buster 💙 is always shivering 🥶 so i put his coat on today but he hates wearing it and straight away starts rolling 😆 around trying to get it off 🙄 Rosie 💖 and Bobby 💙 raced 🐾 off ahead so eager to get down the steps and had so much fun from the minute they got there. They were paddling 💦 and fetching pebbles i was throwing, digging 🐾 in the sand and burying the pebbles, had a good run and were climbing out onto the rocks 🪨 to explore. Bobby 💙 really made me laugh 🤣 putting his head right under the water 💧doing a bit of diving 🤣 Then afterwards we had a wander around the park 🌳🐦‍⬛🍂🌼🌿🐿️ and they enjoyed a good sniff about. The heavens opened 🌧️ just as we were almost back to the car 🚐 so the race was on to get back quick, we were very lucky. 😊

Although the pups 🐶 had a shorter walkies 🐾 this morning 🌦️ around the Orchard 🌳🍎🍂🌿🐿️ at Berry Pomeroy they had a brilliant time 😁 To them it was more of a sniffari and they were on high alert as there were lots of pheasants about, they heard and saw 👀 quite a few, raced 🐾 after them but weren’t quick enough as they scurried off. Rosie 💖 Bobby 💙and Buster 💙 certainly enjoyed the thrill of giving chase. Then Rosie 💖 did her usual digging 🐾 and Buster 💙 did his usual of sniffing out mice 🐁 in the grasses. 🌱

My little friend 🥰 Terrence 💙🐶 was the next pupster 🐶 to go home 🏠 this morning 🌧️ after his long weekend break. He’s had a wonderful time out 🐾 and about with all his friends. . .Thank you so much to his owners Sarah and her two sons who actually chose this lovely present for me and said “she’ll really like this” and i really do 😁 A dog 🐶🐕🐕‍🦺🦮 lovers puzzle book 📕 it’s so appropriate for me, thank you so much Owen and Jake it’s so very kind 😊 of you all and very much appreciated.

The two lovely Spanners 🐕 🐕Croyde 💙 and Bradley 💙 were the first to go home 🏠 this morning 🌧️ after their 9 night holiday and what a fantastic time they’ve both had on lots of great adventures 🐾 . . . Thank you to their owners Jo and Jason for the jar of treats composing of Figs, Pumpkin seeds, Sultanas and Walnuts soaked in yummy honey 🍯 It’s very kind and thoughtful of you both. . . I do always have seeds on my breakfast in the morning so this will be extra tasty having a spoonful of this instead.

The Spaniel boys 💙🐕 and little Terrence’s 💙🐶 last walkies 🐾 with their friends before they go home 🏠 tomorrow was exploring around Scadson woods 🌳🐦‍⬛🪵🍄🌿🐿️ Bradley 💙 raced off ahead making sure he didn’t miss out on anything while the others took a more leisurely mooch 🐾 doing plenty of sniffing along the way. Bobby 💙 was such boy 🥰 off lead again today, he’s really settled well and come of of his shell more this time, Rosie 💖 has been his right hand woman 🥰 I think they were a tad disappointed ☹️ at the stream💧still being so low but that didn’t stop them going in for little fun paddles 💦 The forestry had been cutting down some of the trees🌲and Rosie 💖and Terrence 💙 made a point of getting up to be nosy and striking a pose 😆 on one the stumps 🪵 I’m sure they thought they were king🤴💙 and queen 👸💖of the castle 🏰 🤣. . . It was a good adventure 🐾 for them and I’m pleased to say the rain 🌧️ held off for us. 😊

I think Bobby’s 💙 first walkies 🐾 with his friends 🐶🐕 went down well at lovely Staverton🌲🚂 They did lots of sniffing around the woods 🌳🐿️🦊🌿🍂🍄🦌🦡 and then we stopped off at the Glade to have my coffee ☕️ and sausage roll and Terrence 💙 being a cheeky chappie 😁 thought 🤔 “Oooh lunchtime” and got up on the table and my Buster 💙 joined him, thinking “well if he can get away with being up there it so can i” 😆 Terrence 💙 however couldn’t resist the aroma 😋 and popped his head right inside my rucksack 🎒 to take a look 👀 🤣 I think Bobby 💙 was waiting for the bar 🍺 to open 😆 and Croyde 💙 and Bradley 💙 sat patiently waiting for their gravy bone treat. Then Rosie 💖 got the zoomies 🐾 😆 and tried to coax Bobby 💙 to join in with her fun. Before leaving Terrence 💙 and Bradley 💙 had to investigate the fire 🔥 pit 🙄 and Bradley 💙 fished out a morsel of something to eat 🥴 from the ashes 🙄 anyone would think he’d never been fed. Then we continued on the path with Terrence 💙 lending a helping paw 🐾 and making sure everyone got over the log 🪵 safely 😁 They loved their trip down to river💧🦆Terrence 💙 went in for a dip again and the Spaniels 🐕 had a great time swimming 💦 with Croyde 💙 on stick fetching duties. Rosie 💖 and Bobby 💙 just enjoyed a paddle and were rolling the pebbles about. . . A great time 😊 was had by all.

Our new arrival and returning guest this morning 🌤️ is handsome little fella Bobby 💙 the Cavapoo 🐶 He’s here for his 11 night holiday and after a slightly anxious start the nerves soon went 😊 after everyone 🐶🐕 came out and gave him such a lovely welcome 🥰 They all made the most of the sunshine☀️and enjoyed a sniff around the garden 🌳🐦‍⬛🍂🌿🐿️ and then came in to chill out 🛋️ before we head off out with Terrence 💙 finding the coffee table a more suitable spot 🙄 to relax 😆. . . He is such a cheeky, lovable 🥰 little monkey.

After a busy morning doing the housework 💦 🧽🧹 i took the pups 🐶🐕 on a shorter walkies 🐾 up at Great Hill🌲🍁🍄🌼🦊🐇🐴🦡 in Torquay. They all enjoyed a good run 🐾 around the fields ☘️Terrence 💙 was more eager to get over to see a young doggie that he spotted 👀 in the distance and at one point Bradley 💙 stopped in his tracks, suddenly going tone deaf 🙄 and contemplating whether to go in the other direction but I’m pleased 😊 to say he did come back to us. Croyde 💙 bless him 🥰 is actually slightly deaf but always stays close by and checks that I’m still coming. They also did lots of sniffing on the way around and in amongst the bushes 🌿 and Rosie 💖 came out with a leaf 🍂 around her chops. 👄 😆. . . They were all glad to get out in the sunshine 🌤️ and have a play.

Well didn’t the pups 🐶🐕 just have a fabulous time on their afternoon 🌤️ walkies 🐾 at Teigngrace. They made a bee line for the river💧🦆 first and Croyde 💙 and Bradley 💙 loved their swim 💦 Then they raced 🐾 across the fields ☘️🍂🌼 and down the bank to the next part of the river and Terrence 💙 went in for a paddle and to my amazement 😳 (and Bradley 💙 even looked surprised 😆) Terrence 💙 was in swimming as well, it’s very rare for him to venture right in, he seemed to really enjoy it. Rosie 💖 did some digging and Bradley 💙 found a big hole 🕳️ to dig 🐾 out some more. Terrence 💙 and Buster 💙 were on squirrel 🐿️ watch 👀 and having a good sniff in the bushes 🌿 Then Rosie 💖 and Buster 💙 had that look of dread 😬 as it was time to cross yet another bridge. She was so brave 🥰 and came across all on her own, followed soon after by a very wary 🫤 Buster 💙 Rosie 💖 charged up the steps after I’d praised her and looked so pleased 😁 with herself. We continued along the back path through the woods 🌳🐦‍⬛🍄🍁 and they had another game of fetch the stickie in the river💧before heading back to the car 🚐 . . .
Before coming home 🏡 i popped in quick in to see my brother, niece and nephews to drop off some sweets for their Halloween 🎃👻🧙 and Firework 🔥🧨 party.
