Morning guys,

Following on from my post the other day, (thank you for all the love and support) I didn’t properly explain what I will be doing The Yacht Torquay. at the moment I will be just doing full afternoon tea, and I’m currently working on plated desserts. There will be some cake offerings like millionaire shortbread ect (made by me) It will not be the same concept as my shop, where I have a fridge full of my patisseries. Hopefully in the future I can start offering stuff like that, but the has only been open less then 2 weeks, so one step at a time.

Hi everyone,

I’ll be doing some cakes this weekend, please read the post before any questions 😊

I have limited availability so it will be first come first served.

If anyone would like to order please private message me (no comments) I will get back to you as soon as I can. All cakes are £5 each.

I will be doing some deliveries, Paignton £1.50, Torquay and brixham £2.50 - minimum of 2 cakes for delivery, and collection from my home address in Paignton;

Friday collection; 5pm - 6pm
Saturday collection; 10:30am - 11:30am
Saturday delivery; 12pm till done.

the choices are;

-raspberry and coconut
-tiramisu
-caramel apple
-chocolate and cherry tart

📣 We have a very huge and difficult announcement! 📣

We have had to make the very difficult decision to sell our shop, unfortunately this week will be our last week (and Christmas Eve for pre orders).

I’d like to take this moment to express my sincere gratitude to every single person that has come in and purchased anything, those of you that keep our social media in demand by commenting and liking our posts, and especially to those regulars that pop in weekly for coffee and a cake. You all know who you are and you will be sincerely missed by us (Josh & Lauren). We feel as though we have gotten to know many of you personally and it has always been a joy to chat to you in the shop. Your support has not only kept our business going but also supported us as a family with two young children.

So, what does this mean for Grand Patisserie? We have put so much into this and though it is sad to have to close the shop, we’re still very happy and proud of the following we have built, proud of the amazing reviews we have received from you guys. This is not the end of Grand Patisserie!

We are currently working on and developing ideas for the new year. One of them is wholesales, so if this is any interest to you give me an email.

We do not know exactly what the future holds for us but we are certain that we do not want this to be the end. We notice this is happening a lot both locally and nationally, with businesses having to make the very sad decision to close their doors for good. It is heartbreaking that it is proving extremely difficult to survive as a small business these days.

But, we’d like to finish this positively & once again just a huge, HUGE thank you to all of you. It would mean a lot if you were able to pop in this week to say goodbye!

Notice: If anyone has any in date gift vouchers, I will be happy to give you a refund this week only, please pop into the shop with your gift voucher if this is the case. It is very unlikely you will be able to redeem it this week as I have very limited stock which is for pre-orders only.
Alternatively, keep hold of it & there will definitely be opportunity to use it in future with me.
