After 5 wonderful years of Edie’s, it’s time for a little holiday. I started Edie’s in the middle of a post-COVID world, with no real idea where it would go but just with a lot of hope and faith in my heart. Over the last 5 years Edie’s has been through many changes, with its fair share of setbacks (who was here for that phase I was in a wheelchair?!?) but its continued to grow despite them all.

Edie’s started as a full time venture but in recent years its had to mould alongside my jump back into working in education. Baking in the evenings, weekends and holidays has been a juggle and hasn’t given much time to allow creative freedom flow. It feels the right time in Edie’s world to take a pause, take stock of where we’ve been and where I want to go. Due to the cost of running a small business (insurance isn’t cheap!) we will be taking a full pause, returning at some point in 2027. We have a few more orders to fulfil but will not be taking any further orders at this time.

Thank you to all my gorgeous customers who have trusted Edie’s with their special occasion. We will continue to post bakes on social media throughout our break, I think they might even be some of our best yet! We look forward to seeing you all on the other side 🌈 💖 ⭐️
