I feel so honoured, Rachel from Rachell’s Cake School asked if she could put one of my bouquets, on her Instagram story. Of course I said yes. Lots of my flowers that I use are learned from buying her online tutorials. If you ever fancy giving this a go I would highly recommend her online courses. They are very cost effective, as you can buy individual flower tutorials. In them she shares her buttercream recipe by pdf, tips and colours used, along with a clear and descriptive demonstration of how to pipe each part of the flower.
I must admit, I am addicted to buying them and have loads that I’ve bought and not yet had time to try.
As someone who used to be ranked bottom or next to bottom in art classes at school, I’ve always steered away from this subject ( except when I was teaching 5/6/7 year olds as my art was about that level).
I’m proud of how far my skills have come in the past couple of years. It just shows, with the right teachers, anything is possible and if I can, anyone can.
