Happy Līgo and Happy Summer Solstice! 🌿☀️🌼

May this beautiful celebration bring joy, warmth, prosperity, and happy moments with family and friends. May the energy of the longest day of the year fill your hearts with strength, inspiration, and hope.

For me, Līgo is connected with special memories. Cakes are not traditionally part of this celebration , but for many years a wonderful customer of mine, Lena, ordered themed cakes as gifts for Līgo. Every year I enjoyed creating these unique cakes, inspired by the symbols of the celebration, nature, and the spirit of summer.

Today, looking at these barrel-shaped cakes decorated with daisies, I fondly remember those orders and the people who helped turn simple cakes into cherished memories and beautiful stories.

Wishing everyone a wonderful celebration, joyful gatherings, the fragrance of summer herbs, songs around the bonfire, and the magic of Midsummer.
