Buttercream Basics Class
Date : Saturday 6th June 2026 (Round cake)
or
Date : Sunday 14th June 2026 (Heart shaped cake)
Duration : 10am - 3:30pm ish
Location : Love Life Eat Cake studio in Oakham, Rutland.
Skill Level : Beginners
Cost: early bird price £165 (ends 20th May 2026), normal price £185
You will be provided with :
- 1 pre baked 6” cake to decorate
- buttercream and jam
- all tools and equipment required
- my vanilla cake and buttercream recipe (worth £14)
- unlimited tea and coffee and light lunch
You will be learn :
- how to layer and fill your cake
- prepare buttercream for crumb coating and covering your cake including how to colour your buttercream
- how to crumb coat and cover your cake with a smooth and flawless finish
- piping skills to make your very own Lambeth style cake
At the end of the class, you get to take your cake home to enjoy.
