It’s with a heavy heart that we’re announcing the closure of our cake and coffee shop.
Unfortunately, the financial strain of running a small independent business has become too much. Competing with rising costs and bigger companies has been incredibly difficult, and despite our best efforts, we’ve reached a point where we can no longer keep the doors open.
What makes this truly painful is knowing what we’re saying goodbye to.
Over the past months, we’ve had the privilege of meeting so many wonderful people — the regulars who became part of our routine, the friendships that grew stronger with every visit, and of course, our furry four-legged customers who always brightened the day.
We’ve loved creating a warm, welcoming space for everyone who walked through our door. A place to relax, to celebrate birthdays and milestones, to catch up with loved ones — and, just as importantly, a place to talk about the harder things. Many of you opened up to us about health diagnoses, personal struggles, and moments where life felt overwhelming. We’ve shared tears, hugs, laughter, and everything in between. Being there with you through those moments has been an honour we’ll never forget.
Please know this: although the shop is closing, we’re still here. If you ever need a private tea, a chat, or just someone to listen, we’re only a message away. That part doesn’t change.
Thank you for supporting us, trusting us, and choosing our little shop even when the world is full of bigger, shinier options. Your kindness and loyalty have meant absolutely everything.
We will miss you all more than words can say.
