☕🍫 IS IT TIME FOR A COMEBACK?! 👀🎄

A few years ago, I introduced something a little different to Ivory Rose Cake Company… HOT CHOCOLATE BOMBS! 💣🍫

And to say they were a hit would be a HUGE understatement! 🤯

In the space of just ONE MONTH, I handmade, packaged and sent out an unbelievable 1,300 hot chocolate bombs! Yes, you read that right… ONE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED! 🤣❤️

Perfect for stocking fillers, teacher gifts, Christmas Eve boxes or simply treating yourself to a deliciously indulgent hot chocolate on a cold winter’s evening. ☕❄️

With a variety of flavours, plenty of chocolatey goodness and a little marshmallow magic hidden inside, they were a firm festive favourite! ✨

And now I’m wondering…

SHOULD WE BRING THEM BACK FOR CHRISTMAS 2026?! 🎅🏻

I’m not making any promises just yet (I’m still recovering from making 1,300 last time! 🤣), but I’d LOVE to know what you think!

🎄 Well… apparently it’s NOT too early to talk about Christmas after all! 😂🎅🏻

Remember when I sheepishly announced that my Christmas diary was open, whilst apologising for mentioning the C-word in October?! 🙈

Well, it turns out quite a few of you are already feeling festive because Christmas bookings have been coming in thick and fast! ❤️

And I absolutely LOVE that so many of you are getting organised early! 🥰

From traditional Christmas cakes and festive cupcakes to gingerbread-inspired creations and Christmas celebration cakes, it’s already shaping up to be a wonderfully busy festive season here at Ivory Rose. ✨

🎂 A little reminder… Traditional Christmas cake preparations are already underway, so if you’re hoping to order one this year, please do get in touch sooner rather than later.

And for all other Christmas cakes and treats, my diary is filling up, so booking early is the best way to secure your order and avoid disappointment.

🤍🖤 OREO lovers, this one’s for you…

Fluffy vanilla cupcakes topped with a generous swirl of cookies & cream buttercream, packed with crushed Oreos and finished with a mini Oreo on top. 🤤

Sometimes you really don’t need to overcomplicate things…just a classic flavour that tastes ridiculously good.

And yes… the buttercream tastes exactly as good as it looks. 👀🖤

Available to order as part of my cupcake range. Perfect for birthdays, celebrations, gifts… or simply because six cupcakes absolutely count as self-care. 😂

And again, yes….it is really annoying me I didn’t turn all the cupcakes the same way around 😩🤣

🎀 A little something new from me… 🎁

Some of you might know that when I’m not busy creating cakes, I have another little obsession… making Christmas presents look ridiculously pretty! 🤣

I’ve always loved wrapping gifts, choosing beautiful papers, coordinating ribbons and adding all those little finishing touches.

So this year, I’ve decided to turn that love into something new!

Introducing Gifted by Kim 🎀

A little venture offering beautiful Christmas gift wrapping, as well as help with finding thoughtful presents for those tricky-to-buy-for people on your list.

The idea is simple — you do the shopping, I’ll do the wrapping! 🎁

It’s something a little different from cakes, but it has that same love of beautiful details and making special occasions feel extra special.

Vintage, but make it a little bit edgy. 🖤

I’m loving the contrast on this one. Soft ivory buttercream, lots of vintage-style piping and delicate black ribbon bows, finished with a personalised edible photo in the centre. 🤍

There’s something about the combination of romantic piping and black detailing that just works. Simple, elegant and a little bit different…exactly the kind of cake I love creating. ✨

🎄 I know, I know… it’s only October! 🙈😂

I promise I’m not trying to rush us through pumpkins, bonfires and Halloween just yet… BUT behind the scenes at Ivory Rose, Christmas starts a little earlier. ✨

Christmas is always one of my busiest times of the year, so my Christmas diary is officially OPEN! 🎅🏻

And if you’re a traditional Christmas cake lover, this one really can’t wait until December..Christmas cake making starts NOW, giving all that gorgeous fruit plenty of time to mature. Pre-orders for traditional Christmas cakes are therefore essential. 🍰

I’ll also be taking bookings for all things festive….Christmas celebration cakes, cupcakes, treats and gifts (eyes peeled for some new gift ideas for this year 👀). You absolutely don’t need to have your design figured out yet; getting your date/order in the diary now is the best way to avoid disappointment later.

So… we’ll whisper it for now…

🍂 Hello October… you beautiful thing. 🎃✨

I couldn’t think of a better cake to welcome in one of my favourite times of year! 🤎

Rustic semi-naked buttercream, rich autumnal florals, berries, pinecones, acorns and the cutest little pumpkin, all brought together in those gorgeous burnt orange, berry and gold tones. 🍁

And what better milestone to celebrate amongst all those autumn colours than a fabulous 40th birthday! 🥂

Autumn cakes might just have my heart… 🍂🧡

💙 This one was all about the drama… 💙

I absolutely loved creating this one! Layers of icy blue, white and navy buttercream surrounded by dramatic shards of blue sugar glass and sparkling crystal details, with Anime taking centre stage. ✨

It’s bold, a little bit wild and completely different…exactly the kind of brief I love when I get the chance to really play with texture and height.

And can we appreciate those sugar shards?! They were definitely a labour of love! 😍💙
