That’s a wrap! The time has come to hang up the apron!
What an impressive turn out today, not seen queues like that since those fun covid times!
Just wanted to say thank you again for all your support over the last few years & thank you to the Garage for having me be part of their wonderful team!

Please don’t desert the page yet, I will still be posting lots of my baking and recipe ideas.

But for now, I hope you enjoy your treats and have a fabulous Christmas

In case you missed it……

I will be hanging up my apron very shortly!
I have already stopped doing boxed orders and I just have 1 very last Sunday market on the 4th Dec.

I expect to be busy on this market day as it’s the last, but I will be bringing a lot of the usuals plus some festive favourites!
I will also post the menu nice and early so you can plan your visit 😍

I am feeling very sad to say goodbye, but feel free to still say hi if you see me around the market or in Beeston……if you have forgiven me that is 🤣

What a busy week!!! Shattered is definitely the word!

Thanks again for your support this week, whether ordering treat boxes for yourself (or your freezer!!) or visiting at the market or comedy night.

Just a reminder that I am now closed for orders but I will still be at the Garage market the first Sunday of the month until the end of the year and I promise to bring lots more to keep stocking those freezers!

Announcement

Firstly I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported me over the last few years, your kind words & feedback have always been appreciated.

So with this in mind I am sad to announce that Bake Actually will be closing its doors. It’s been an amazing and challenging 3 years and I have loved the majority of it (not you covid) so it’s not been an easy decision to make.
This is a personal decision and not linked to the current cost of living crisis (though that does suck!!) & I won’t be disappearing straight away, I’ll detail below how you can get your hands on some final treats!

I won’t be taking any more orders for postal orders, sorry. However I will be offering collections until the end of September with a special ‘greatest hits’ treat box next Friday. I’ll post further details later & they can be found on the website.
I won’t be at the Garage Sunday markets as often, but I will still be there for the 1st Sunday in October, November & December, which will be my last one.

Think that covers everything, feel free to message me if you have any questions.

If you have bought something from me in the past I hope you will continue to spend your money on small local businesses like mine, it really does make a difference.

New Blondies flavours today are peanut butter & jam and strawberries and cream.

This week has been all about the cookies!!

Also managed to squeeze in a few amazing trips to the commonwealth games in Birmingham after our holiday (swipe across for a couple of pics)

Availability in August might be a bit limited some weeks as there’s a lot happening away from work, but I’ll still be open, so just check with me or the website for more detailed info if you need something for a specific date.

Need some teacher present inspiration?

Sorry I’ve been so quiet recently, with work plus about 15 kids plays/shows, school events & a bust nose, I’ve been losing track of time & I’m not going to mention the heat!!!!

End of school term is coming up and I’ve just popped a new minis cookie box on the website, which is a great sharing box if you are stuck for ideas.
All orders placed by end of tomorrow will be available to collect either Thursday or Friday this week. (I realise some schools finish the week after, but I will be closed for a bit from the 23rd.)

Update….I just have 6 Father’s Day treat boxes left to order for collection Saturday. Everything else has now sold out.

The treat box is £12 and has 3 brownies (Toblerone, Kit Kat chunky & Yorkie) and 3 stuffed cookies (Mars, lion bar & snickers).
