Autumn has officially arrived at Flourishing Bakes, and I’m bringing the Cake Shed back for a very special weekend! 🍁🧁

📅 Saturday 24th October — 8am–8pm
📅 Sunday 25th October — 8am–4pm

📍 15 Larkspur Drive, Ruddington, NG11 6SF

When your brief is “she loves cookies and brownies”… so you make her a CAKE out of cookies and brownies 😂🍪🍫
This one was a little bit of an experiment!
I decided to ditch the traditional cake layers and make this birthday cake with:
🍫 Brownie
🍪 Chocolate chip cookie
🤎 Homemade edible cookie dough
🍪 Oreo buttercream
🍫 More brownie & cookie!
And because the birthday girl is a huge ACOTAR fan, I went for a Velaris-inspired design on the outside 🌙✨
I wanted the decoration to feel more abstract and painterly rather than trying to recreate Velaris exactly — lots of deep blues, purples, mountains, stars and a little bit of gold ✨
The real question is...
Will anyone actually be able to cut through all those layers?! 😂
I guess we’ll find out! 👀🍪🍫
