We turn our backs on the term 'artisan' because it would seem anyone can wake up in the morning and decide they ca

n be an artisan (insert trade!) with no or little training. I have often been described as an old school baker, a term i feel comfortable with having worked in the baking industry for over 30 years. All our products are made inhouse utilising this knowledge, if we cant make it, we wont sell it. With this ethos we can call ourselves true bakers and hold our heads high and say 'yeah, i made that'

Good afternoon Nottingham peeps
As you know you've not seen or heard from me of late because of health reasons. Dont worry I'm fine but this means I cant continue the crazy shift patterns. As much as this pains me I've taken the decision to close Bake off and pie for the final time. My little bakery which i started way back in 2013 grew way bigger than i ever expected and i couldn't have done it without you lot.
The support, kindness and enthusiasm you guy's have shown me and for what i do has truly been a very humbling experience. Thank you so much

Saturday you can find me at Sherwood Vegan Market followed by Carrington Farmers' Market on Sunday. Maybe there will be some some old favourites making an appearance 🤔
