IMPORTANT – The genuine owner of The Baking Fairy by Piya is also a victim of the fake page mentioned below. Please DO NOT contact, tag or report her or any of her genuine social media accounts.
I recently discovered a fake page using the name Thebakingfairybypiya which has taken numerous photographs and videos of my cupcake work from Brown’s Floral Cupcakes and is displaying them on the page without my permission.
I have since discovered that whoever is behind this page is also impersonating another cake maker, using her business identity and content, as well as taking and posting work belonging to myself and other cake makers.
The ONLY account I am asking people to report is the fake page shown in my screenshot.
There are numerous photographs and videos of my cupcakes currently being displayed on this page. These are my cupcakes, my designs and my own photographs and videos, and I have never given permission for any of them to be used.
As a small business, I have spent countless hours creating my work and building the reputation of Brown’s Floral Cupcakes, so seeing so much of my content being used in this way is incredibly upsetting.
If any of my lovely followers and fellow cake makers could please report the fake page shown in my screenshot, along with any posts containing my work, I would be extremely grateful.
Please feel free to share this post too, as other cake makers may want to check whether their work has also been taken.
Please remember that the genuine business owner being impersonated is also a victim. Please do not contact or tag her.
