Good morning.
The website was closed, on Friday with messages on every page, to give me time to complete the orders already in my diary in time for Christmas.

Can I please ask, for orders to stop being placed unless they are for the New year?

When you pay by card, I don't not get the bank charges back if you request a refund.
As a message goes out when an order has been placed since the site was shut, to let you know the bakes will not be made until 2026, I have already had 6 requests to cancel over this weekend, most stating it was not clear on my site that the store was shut (message on every page header is below) This is effectively making me pay a fee without gaining an order.
Unfortunately, it means I may not be able to accept orders outside those who collect from me next Christmas, which would be a shame as I have been posting orders for over 15 years now, some to the same customers every year.

Another Christmas Fayre booked. This is an early start when I bake late into the night, so just hoping I get set up on time😁

I am happy that I can finally let you know...
The new venue I will be supplying is opening this Saturday 24th May!

ROK Coffee House, 89 Melton Road, West Bridgford.
Dottie's bakes will be: Mini loaves in Victoria Sponge, Lemon Drizzle, Almond and Raspberry, all gluten & dairy free and Chocolate Crazy cake, also vegan. The mini shortbreads to accompany your coffee will also be gluten free, dairy free & vegan so no-one has to miss out.
I hope lots of you can pop over to try their delicious coffee and sit in the lovely calm surroundings (it may not be during the first weekend!) away from the busy main town x
