Just to be clear im rooting for all the independent food businesses in ! Especially the Jamaican ones. Part of us setting up a jerk deli is that there are plenty of great traditional Jamaican takeaways already. We're not here to compete on a 🦀 in a 🪣 one. But this stereotype has to die now.... Along with microwaves...soz

Oxtail Chilli Cheese on focaccia!

I think whats been fun about this sandwich journey so far is that we are invoking curiosity amongst a range of people. For some it's the first time they a learning of coco bread, and for others its their first experience with focaccia. Either way, we hope to serve as a bridge into different worlds for baking 💛🇯🇲🇮🇹

Being where we are it's meant that our customers are from all walks of life, which we love. But not everyone it. What we've come from, what we're supposed to be. Being in Sneinton Market amongst other small start ups and independents we thought that we could develop gradually at a pace that was managable. I guess someone else had other plans for us 😅 we'll try our best to meet the challenge. Bear with us 💛
