With so many beautiful breads at Coosh, we had to share some more of our staff’s favourite loaves …

For bread baking wizard Ian, it is the wholemeal oat tin loaf for its wholesome, oat-some, soft fluffy crumb. It is the PERFECT sandwich bread and makes an epic fish finger sarnie 🐟

For our sourdough fairy Becky, she’s chosen the everything bagel. Because it has EVERYTHING you need. All the best flavours in the world. Garlic, salt and onion. Undefeated with a little smoked salmon moment or a schmear from Chef Dave 🧚

For patisserie princess Chloe, it is the sourdough baguette. That blistered crunchy crust is to DIE for and makes for the perfect snack plate. A few thick slices of bread + salty butter + stilton = delicious!!! 👑

For Front of House LEGEND Tasha, it has got to be the AWARD WINNING maple, pecan and sesame spelt bread. It makes the best toast in the world - especially when slathered in salted butter with raspberry jam. Word on the street is that this loaf even has magical period pain healing properties… ✨

This week, we asked some of the team to tell us all about their most treasured loaves …

👩‍🍳 For baker queen Katie, it is the Spelt Loaf. The white and wholemeal spelt flour results in a nutty loaf that is fab for everything. It makes the best toast ever and freezes beautifully (her freezer is constantly stacked for when she needs it ((aka everyday))

👑 For Mother of Coosh - Rach, it is the sea salt bagel. It’s a classic for a reason. She loves making them, and she loves eating them even more. Paired with a big old smear of cream cheese - so simple but so inspired.

🧚 For patisserie / social media babe Lottie, it is the Seeded Sourdough Tin Loaf. Not only does it fit in the toaster PERFECTLY, but there is no better bread to have a fried egg on. A golden jammy yolk and the tang of the toast never fails to blow her mind.

🤴 For Father of Coosh - Tom Egan, it is the Farmhouse Loaf. Discovered accidentally one day in the bakery, he feels it puts all other breads to shame. If you ever manage to grab one warm you are in for a treat, it is the best sandwich bread in the world.

Seeing as we’ve been seriously upping our sando game at Coosh this Spring, we thought it only right to spotlight some of our most glorious creations…

🌸 Mortadella, heritage tomato, beetroot and ricotta dip and leaves in our bubbly focaccia
🍌Deep fried banana blossom and jalapeno tartar in our hoagie subs (vegan friendly)
🧄 Wild garlic pesto, buffalo mozzerella, kalamata olives, tomato and leaves in the focaccia

Slowly but surely, the weather is beginning to get warmer which can only mean one thing…

That’s right. Iced Latte season is back baby AND we have even got a couple more beautiful syrups to add to our selection. Crème Brûlée iced coffee? Yes PLEASE ☕

We have also really upped our canned drink range in our smart new front of house fridge, with flavours and brands that have been carefully selected by our team to be the perfect lunch time pairing with your sweet treats and breads 😋

What better way to celebrate the sunshine than buying a delicious iced cold beverage?
