👋 Meet the Team — Episode 2

This is Angie - AKA my mum! ❤️

I quite literally couldn’t do this without her! She’s on hand at every single hour of the day to help me! She’s recently taken a weight off my load by creating reels and posting to socials. Those of you with your own business know this is almost a full time job in itself!

She even completed all her relevant training and now helps me bake some of your favourite things for the stall, shed AND vending machine!

Most importantly, she hears me moan, sees I’m struggling and immediately steps in to help! You can catch her at the market on Mondays and Thursdays 😍

Here are 5 things you might not know about her…

🎨 She LOVES designing things! Give her Canva, a Cricut and a project to work on and she’s happy bringing it to life!

🚢 Cruising is her absolute favourite holiday! There’s something about unpacking once and getting to visit so many different places that she just loves.

💜 She’s Norwich born and bred. Lived here all her life and honestly wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. Norwich will always be home. 🏡

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family will always come first. Her family is her number one priority, and no matter how busy life gets, they will always be the most important thing. ❤️

🍯 Favourite bake? Anything caramel based! Convenient considering I confessed I hated making it 👀 Mum to the rescue 🦸‍♀️

So that’s Mum! 👋❤️

Not only a hard worker, but my biggest supporter too! Right from the very beginning 🍫✨

Just a bonus that I get to call her ‘mum’ too! 🩷

👋 Meet the Team — Episode 1

As most of you know I’m Gemma, the founder and owner of The Chocolate Bar Baker — and as you can probably imagine, there’s a LOT that goes on behind the scenes! 😂

I’m the one doing the baking, stock shopping, answering emails, planning menus, sorting allergen and label information… and then heading to the market on Tuesdays and Fridays to sell it all! 🍫

So, here are 5 things you might not know about me…

🎄 I LOVE Christmas! It’s hands down my favourite time of year!!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 I’m a wife and mum of two. My family are a huge part of my life and somehow amongst kids clubs and work, we make it all fit!

🧠 I’m a massive overthinker. I can turn the tiniest decision into a full-blown debate in my head!

🍯 I actually HATE making caramel. Yes, really! I must get burnt at least twice a week. Despite all the things I make, caramel is definitely not my favourite thing to work with.

🍫 My favourite bake at The Chocolate Bar Baker is a Crunchie Slice.

So that’s me! 👋❤️
