They say all good things must come to an end, and today I’m sharing some bittersweet news. After four wonderful years of being part of your birthdays, weddings, and milestones, I have decided to close Mama Martins Bakes.

I love the art of baking, but as a wife and a mum with a mortgage to pay and a family to support, I have to be honest: the financial reality of running this small business is no longer feasible. To put my family first, I need to move toward a path that provides the stability they and I deserve.

I have cried a lot making this decision but I think it is the right one.

Important Note: I will be fulfilling every single order currently on my books with the same love and care as always! However, I am officially closed for new bookings.

Thank you for letting me be a small part of your lives. Your support has meant the world to me, and while this chapter is ending, I am so proud of what we built together. 🍰❤️

Huge congratulations to J and B! 🥂✨

I had the absolute honor of creating this elegant two-tier wedding cake for the new Mr. & Mrs. Huish. There is something so timeless about a crisp white finish paired with gold leaf and deep red florals to celebrate such a special duo.

The Design: Two tiers of perfectly smooth buttercream.

The Details: Hand-applied gold leaf accents and romantic faux roses.

The Finishing Touch: A personalised acrylic topper to commemorate their big day.

Making 2 look 'roarsome'! 🦕✨

Happy Birthday to Tommy! It was a delight to create this custom dinosaur cake for his big day. From the T-Rex to the Triceratops, this cake was ready for an adventure.

Did someone say chocolate? 🍫✨

I had the pleasure of creating this chocolate overload cake for Parker’s 10th birthday! It’s packed with all the favorites - Freddos, Daim eggs, fudge and Malteasers.

The Build: A tall, extra-deep chocolate sponge with a silk-smooth finish.

The Toppings: Loaded high with a milk chocolate drip and a custom blue glitter topper for the birthday boy.

This is my 4" cake with 4 layers with approx servings of 12, but you can easily get a good 16 slices!

Dearest Gentle Reader,

The Ton is abuzz with the latest arrival! 🖋️💎 I had the absolute pleasure of creating this Bridgerton-inspired masterpiece.

From the delicate, hand-piped wisteria to the intricate golden fondant cameo brooch, every detail was designed for a true Diamond of the Season.

The Design: A tall, sky-blue canvas featuring cascading purple wisteria and vintage-style piping.

The Centerpiece: A hand-molded edible brooch to add that touch of Regency royalty.

A huge Happy 10th Birthday to Ray, who celebrated hitting double digits with this Snorlax-inspired creation. I had so much fun bringing this sleepy Pokémon to life!

The Topper: A hand-sculpted Snorlax made entirely from modeling paste - almost too cute to eat!

The Look: A deep blue 'drip' cake with grassy piping and custom glitter name and age toppers to match.

This year, we went for the same cake but combining delicate pink and regal burgundy
