My thoughts and prayers go to Sharron & their family! He ALWAYS supported and bought bakes from me on the market. His favourite was the Cherry Bakewell ❤️🙏🏼 Always so smiley and kind...thank you x

I am so sorry for this devastating news 🕊️ x

This is a post we hoped we wouldn’t have to post. Many know this wonderful Man Kevin Hurn, the brains behind this celebration he took it on selflessly as he couldn’t see Wymondham go without a light switch on event for the community, this is him 100% thinking of everyone and Everything Wymondham. Sadly Kevin lost his battle with a short illness, (he still continued to plan and do the forms all the way) we are all absolutely devastated and we are thinking of Sharron and the children who are just wonderful people we are also thinking of all his colleagues at Alan Cross where he worked for over 40 years.
Kevin Served the community for many years on the Council and as Mayor and is known for his kindness, his smile and his calmness. He also volunteered his time whenever he could helping put the lights up and the flags.
He has left clear instructions on what he wants for the 7th December and the biggest thing he wanted was to make sure the community came together and had fun and smiles are a must.
We want to make sure this event is amazing for Kevin our wonderful Friend.

Hello Everyone!!! It’s been a little while! As many of you know, I’m a trained dancer, and ever since starting MegsyBakes five years ago, I’ve been balancing my love for baking with my career in the arts world.

🎭✨ I’ve been off whisking up different kinds of drama lately... helping bring new Opera productions to life in Austria and at Glyndebourne! But don’t worry, MegsyBakes hasn’t gone anywhere...I’m still here and still baking. 🍰🎶💃

Creativity takes many forms… sometimes it’s on stage, sometimes it’s in the oven 😋
