I'm cutting back preserve production this year, but I couldn't resist buying a few kilos of Seville Oranges. So after a lot (a very lot) of squeezing and chopping, I have large (£3.75) and small (£2.50) jars of normal, Cointreau and whisky, Seville Orange Marmalade - whatever takes your fancy!

Today I have mostly been baking this little lot, ready for Christmas hamper orders. Mince pies due out of the oven shortly, then I can hear the Strictly Final calling!

Frantic Friday again! This week I'm London bound: The car is loaded with jam & chutney for the lovely people of The American School in London. (This is the overseas arm of the business😉) Thankfully Mum and Alfie are with me to ensure safe passage, and a weekend with big sis awaits!

All a bit frantic today preparing for Comberbach Village Craft Fayre tomorrow. Comberbach Memorial Hall, 10am to 3pm. All stall spaces are sold out; there'll be lots to see, so pop down and have a browse. Maybe treat yourself to some marvellous homemade jams and chutneys too!

Don't forget, if you're heading from Anderton, Marbury Hollows will be closed all weekend 🚧

So these are my tools for the rest of the afternoon: Latex gloves, fruit stoner and 3kg of damsons. The little blighters make gorgeous jam, but are the most labour-intensive of all fruit, and without the gloves, leave your hands looking like a fifty-a-day smoker. Wish me luck ; )
