A HUGE thank you to everyone who popped down today, braved the chilly start, treated themselves to a slice (or three! 🤭) and supported my little honesty shed! 🍫🧁

🍰 All packed, labelled and ready for TOMORROW!

I had a helper today—my wonderful daughter Ella ❤️ Her first job? Supervising me to make sure the portions were cut more equally… 👀😂

She ended up taking over the knife herself and discovered it’s not quite as easy as it looks! Generous portions? Absolutely. Identical twins? We’re working on it 🤣

She’s also responsible for making me laugh throughout this video, so enjoy a little cake chaos alongside your sneak peek!

🚨 I NEED TO HAVE A WORD ABOUT PORTION SIZES! 🚨

So, I’m minding my own business, getting ingredients ready for the Cake Shed, when this packet of Aero Bubbles starts annoying me. 😂

Firstly… 92g?!

What happened to 100g? Are we just shaving a few grams off every time until eventually we’re buying a packet of fresh air?

The packets seem to be getting smaller while the prices are heading in completely the opposite direction. Good old shrinkflation! 🙄

Secondly… WHO decided 10 Aero Bubbles is a portion?!

TEN!! 🤣

Is that a portion or just what you eat while deciding whether to open the packet properly?!

Anyway, it got me thinking…

Here at the Cake Shed, there’s no shrinkflation going on with my slices!

🍰 Proper, generous portions.

🍰 Plenty of filling and toppings.

🍰 And absolutely no suggestion that you should only eat a tenth of one! 😂

I might not be able to do much about the price of chocolate, but I’m certainly not going to start serving cake you need a magnifying glass to find!

Now, serious question… does anyone actually stop at 10 Aero Bubbles?! 👀

A heart cake for an engagement… with a message I think we can all get behind: “Don’t mind if I do” 💍🤍

Vanilla sponge, jam and buttercream, with plenty of piping and a little black bow to finish it off.
