What a fab morning if not a little chaotic! Some absolute bargains were had and so much stuff went to new homes but I've still GOT SO MUCH MORE STUFF so I'm doin the same again on Thursday! There are so many items in the tubs and even more in the shed ive not even taken pics off yet?!! The mixers are still up for grabs as I'm trying to get a good price for them. The black one was bought in May, used a hand full of times and is boxed looking for £120 one, the green one bought end of 2023, looking for £85ono. They are £300+ new. Pleaelse pm me if interested.

Just to let everyone know I am now working full time so I can't be at the studio apart from the following times:
Monday 10am to 3pm
Thursday 10am to 5pm or layer if requested
Saturday 10am to 5pm or later if requested

You name it, chances are I've got one (or a few). Nothing is priced, and I'm literally just going to give some stuff away, take what you want, fill a shopping bag or fill the car and make me an offer. On Saturday I had the absolute pleasure to create a Harry Potter themed 40th Birthday cake for Shiv. Remember the Millenium Falcon from a couple of months ago? That was for her husband so I knew I had to create something just as spectacular. I was given free reign on the design. I knew I wanted to do something with the floating candles and the way they worked out looked so effective. They were activated using a remote that looked like a wand and the kiddos had a blast turning them on and off with their 'magic'. I hope you had the most brilliant time and thanks for the invite, it was lovely to see everyone again ###xx

Hello Fairy Fans! Just wanted to pop on and say hi and apologies for the lack of posts recently. I've been a bit busy the past month or so with something else other that making cakes as I tied the knot yesterday and I'm now a Mrs! We had the most incredible day of course i made my own wedding cake! 😁 I'll share more pics once we have them in about 6 weeks but in the mean time we have a sneak peak.

Hello Fairy Fans!

Have I got new for you........

So....All orders currently on the books will be honoured, but as of today Thursday 6th of June, I am no longer taking orders for cake and cupcakes, or well .... anything, and at the end of October the Studio will close permanently.

After 10 years of blood sweat and tears I have finaly decided to put away the stand mixers and call it a day. I love what I do, and I'm very good at it, but over the past 2 or 3 years the cost of supplies and ingredients, utilities, rent and all the other overheads that go with running your own small business means it's just become a daily grind to get the bills paid, and quite frankly I've had enough.

I've already got a new job, and I'm moving on to a brand new venture. I am extremely excited to go back into full time employment, working 5 days a week and get a set wage, paid holidays, sick pay and paid over time .... the novelty!

Thank you to each and every one of you who has purchased from me over the past 10 years, it's been a roller coaster but I have loved each and every special cake I've made.

"Helen made our wedding cake for us a few days ago. Wow. What a phenomenal cake! We were so happy when we saw it on the day it was amazing! We went for a tasting months before and she was very accommodating, the taster cakes were gorgeous and we got a box to take home! So we already knew it would taste delicious 😋 but the work that went into the outside needs it's own credit! She made us a bark covering with moss and 'dirt' to fit into our woodland themed wedding and it certainly fits right in! Perfect design very artistically done she it very talented. We never saw her deliver the cake she was very discreet, but I hope she knows just how grateful we are for the best wedding cake we could have asked for" ❤️
