When I was little and my Grandma was still alive, Dad would play elaborate pranks every April fools. She rode a red scooter and he’d make realistic looking letters saying she’d been caught speeding at 100mph and such things (her scooter had a top speed of about 30mph 😂). The letters always looked very convincing and she’d be outraged for quite a while…until the penny dropped.
He always went the extra mile with the details, it took him ages when he’s had to cut and glue and photocopy - no photoshop, no AI.
I’ve inherited that and I love him for it. It makes all the difference to my business 🥰

We first designed these chickens for Fortnum and Mason’s Easter range a couple of years ago, but they look good on a cake too 🐓

After 14 years of making biscuits and 7 years making our own 3D printed cookie cutters we have literally thousands of designs - I bet if you can think of a shape we’ll have it somewhere.

My go to for cakes is always a simple round cake and biscuits, pretty much cheating but who cares 🤷‍♀️

We have SO much to show you this month - all around a birthday theme and to tie it all in Honeywell Bakes is 14 this month!

First up was a contentious one, I said NEIGH (😉 to this theme for years, probably from PTSD after my kids were given overstimulating, bright, garish NOISY unicorn toys as toddlers.

BUUUUT I have to eat my words. The unicorns are cute and I am a big fan.

But it doesn’t really matter what I think as if you guys hate them then they won’t last long 😂
