And all good things come to .......change. The not so nice part of home baking, the price list.

7" 3 layered celebrations cakes from £35 depending on toppers. Larger ones will be available, 8" or 12" Allergies can be catered for too.

Cup cakes, pack of 6 £15

Cup cakes pack of 4 with a 4" 3 layer cake £18 Brilliant for Mother's Day, or smaller birthday gatherings.

Cup cakes, pack of 12 £25, these are great for family get togethers or for supporting a charity with a raffle.

Pavlovas 6 egg, from £18. These will be a combination of fruits. For an additional £2 you can have a choice of a more unique toppings.

Tray bakes 8x12 " trays from £18 depending on the bake.
ie caramel squares with either a base of shortbread or digestive biscuits for a less sweet version. Rocky road, brownies, etc This size tray will cut into 12, 15 or 18 squares, depending on your event.

Well beautiful people, as I mentioned I have reapplied to have my home kitchen re-inspected by Ards Environmental Health Office with regards to restarting my baking from home business. I received my window/door sticker from EHO yesterday, and am now officially in the system of inspection applied for.

My kitchen at this house is the smallest galley kitchen imaginable, when they say too small to swing a cat, it is definitely true of my home kitchen. However, I have a secret weapon, Gordon. Gordon can pack a metre squared into a foot squared and still make it look like there is room left.

This weekend, I am going to do a trial run of Mother's Day ideas, and will post then on the page to see what you all think. If you would like to purchase any of the goodies, just drop me a DM, you would be doing family a huge favour, as they will be guinea pig for the upcoming Mother's Day baking. I will also be taking orders for Easter.

I would love to be able to offer a postal service of some of the bakes, and have asked the EHO for advise on the best way to set this up. So, Alan Horrocks, you may be getting a goodie box in the post when I have it all figured out.

I will also be baking pavalovas for Easter weekend, if anyone would be interested. Possibly, depending on time and space, a few larger family cakes or cheesecakes.

I will add some photos just as reminders of my style, and also would like to remind all my customers, and to thank them for supporting the more traditional bakes. My mum was an excellent baker, and taught me many of granny's recipes.

I truly do thank all my loyal customers, who have ridden on the cancer train with me. It was not just the physical symptoms that had to be endured, but the mental ones too. My mental health truly took a hammering, but the counselling has truly made a huge difference.

Whatever you are doing, not matter what your challenges may be, remember that nothing stays the same.

Well beautiful people. it has been a few years since I have done any baking to order. My following has dwindled, except for some of my faithful customers whom I still bake for. It has been a very hard few years for me as I have been stricken with ill health and anxiety. I am happy to say that my mental health has improved since having counselling, with more specific trauma counselling in the pipeline I have also had kidney cancer, and had my kidney removed last April 24. I am still in the intermediate group that cancer may recure, and that will be monitored with CT scans to keep an eye on things. I am though, for the best part, feeling much better.

I will once again be taking orders from customers from Easter onwards. I hope I can bake something nice for you.

I would also like to remind my customers that I am an old fashioned baker, bringing back some of the recipes used many years ago, and are still popular today. I do not use any sponge mixes etc, my bakes are all done with the main ingredients. I am still learning the majesty of fondant work, but can create a beautiful cake with buttercream, American frosting, and my own spin on pavlovas.

I will be producing a new price list shortly, and I hope to hear from you all very soon.

Hi everyone, thank you to all those people who have followed my cancer journey, and sent me love and direct messages. I truly appreciate it.

I am now able to offer baking once more to anyone who requires it. It would be great to channel my artistic streak again.
