It’s been a busy few days in the Kraken kitchen - I’ve been preparing some delicious cake taster samples for an upcoming wedding cake order! 💍🥰🎂

It’s been so much fun working on new flavour combinations, and I’m super excited to create a beautiful wedding cake for a lovely couple!

Some of the flavours are:

- pistachio and raspberry
- red velvet with cream cheese icing
- chocolate and caramel ganache
- lemon and raspberry
- chocolate orange
- lemon and elderflower
- biscoff inspired

All of these flavour combinations can be ordered as part of a celebration cake, so if you’re looking for something a little different for a special occasion, feel free to message me to place an order!

I think my fav was the pistachio and raspberry 🤤 Let me know in the comments which one you’d go for!

Here’s a beautiful cake that was commissioned last week for a double 40th birthday party! 🎂

It’s a Victoria sponge inspired vanilla cake, strawberry filling and vanilla buttercream, with simple decoration of piping and sprinkles.

Hellooooo peeps! 👋

Been a little quiet here from me for the last week or so, and that’s because I’ve been on my holibobs up to the north coast - it’s one of my favourite places to visit in Ireland, and always provides some awesome scenery! 📸 ⛰️

The Kraken Cake Shack will be back open on Saturday 1st August, and I’ll be offering a selection of brownies and blondies which will be available for a set price for 6 via preorder.

I’m still finalising the flavours, but thinking tiramisu brownies, lemon meringue blondies to start - let me know in the comments of any flavours you’d like to see!
