Thoroughly enjoyed designing this one. The brief was an elegant 80th birthday cake for a music lover and organist. Everything is edible, including the 'Happy Birthday' sheet music! I even modelled some raspberries, using sugarpaste, for a pop of colour. The cake itself is vanilla sponge sandwiched with tangy raspberry jam and creamy vanilla buttercream (one of the classics 😋)

When mum's a cake maker and you have free rein to design your own cake! My daughter knew exactly what she wanted, sketched her own design (complete with colour palette) and even drew her own bees for me to turn into edible prints. I did have a lot of fun making orange chocolate honeycomb and edible daisies.

Lots of requests for football themed cakes recently ⚽️🥅
The red design is one of my most popular football themed cakes, the colours can be easily adapted for different clubs and the toppers can be personalised too. The two tier one was a custom design based on an inspiration image from the customer. I love how the simple three colour palette works together so effectively.

Plenty of fiddly little models to make on this fishing themed cake 🐟 🎣 Everything (except the fishing line) is edible. I did have to brush-up on my freshwater fish when I was filling the pond with edible images! Everyday's a school day 😁.

Little bit late posting this one, but I've been on holiday. 🌞
Such an honour to make a cake for a milestone wedding anniversary, 💎 60 years! The couple were a delight to work with, and sent me such a beautiful thank you message.

Love how this one turned out. One of my very popular biscoff drip cakes (caramel sponge layered with biscoff buttercream and biscoff spread, topped with biscoff biscuits) complete with a personalised twist - the customer's dog having a cheeky nibble!

Feeling the summer vibes! ☀️
A textured VW campervan plaque, seasonal flowers, tropical leaves, a beach umbrella and a bespoke '40' topper...what more could you want? All edible, made from fondant, and done by hand (mine!) 😊. Loved making this one 💙
Oh, and there's 3 layers of luscious vanilla sponge cake and lashings of buttercream underneath too!

For those of you who know me, you'll also know that I am truly terrible when it comes to posting images of my work to my socials. Oh, and also the fact that I have about 4.5 thousand images of my work on my camera reel 🙈. I know!!
Whilst enjoying the sunshine this afternoon, I thought I'd have a look through some of those photos and post a little snippet of them.
So, here is a small selection of the children's cakes I have made over the past couple of months. I think my favourite is the unicorn topped cookie stack, what's yours? x 😊

For when the birthday boy loves Dennis The Menace!
Working from an online image of the character, I modelled a bespoke keepsake topper that can be easily removed. Edible printed images and buttercream piping complete the cake and bring everything together.
