✨ Meet the Team – Ben ✨

Meet Ben, our Production Manager at Truly Treats 👋
With more than 25 years of experience working as a chef in professional kitchens, Ben brings a calm, hands-on approach to keeping production running smoothly behind the scenes.

💬 How do you keep everything running smoothly on busy days?

“I always make sure all ingredients and equipment are prepared and ready for the day’s baking schedule. I’m also happy to step into the bakery and support production whenever needed, especially during big orders or when the team’s under pressure. Good communication and preparation make a big difference.”

💬 What are you most proud of the team for recently?

“I’m really proud of how everyone has stepped up during what’s been an especially busy time for scone production. The support for the evening and weekend shifts has been brilliant, and everyone’s worked hard to keep things running smoothly.”

💬 What’s been the biggest learning curve for you?

“After more than 25 years working as a chef in professional kitchens, the biggest learning curve has been adapting to a different kind of fast-paced environment. I’ve been able to bring across a lot of the skills I learned in kitchens - like working under pressure, ordering, stocktaking, and planning - and apply them to bakery production.”
