Newry BID is delighted to welcome the news that Planning Approval has been granted for the Newry City Park. This has been long lobbied for by our members and others, and it is fantastic to see it moving to the next stage of development.

This milestone means Newry and Mourne District Council can now appoint a contractor to deliver the 15-acre project. We look forward to seeing work commence at the city centre site.

The £18.6m Newry City Park project is supported by £16.2m Complementary Funding through the for Communities.
