🎉 New Year, New Home, New Edition 🎉

Happy New Year from the Geordie Blood Bowl League — and yes, we know it’s been a bit quiet on here!

Season 34 wrapped up back in October, with huge congratulations to Willow on winning the league🏆.

After that, we took a short break while the new edition of Blood Bowl was released — and now we’re back and ready to get rolling again.

We’re delighted to announce that the GBBL has moved to a new home and we now play at
🎲 Clubhouse Gaming in Newcastle a fantastic Aston and friendly venue.

Season 35 starts this coming Tuesday, and it will be our first season using the new edition of Blood Bowl — a fresh start in a fantastic new venue.

The league has been running continuously since 2008, and we’re really excited to begin this next chapter at Clubhouse Gaming, a great, friendly, and welcoming community.

Scottish National - Mulligans Open comes into its second days. Geordie Blood Bowl is represented by

MACSTER - Dark Elves (2/0/1),
COOKIE - Vampires (2/0/1)
WYNTERS DAD - Undead (1/0/2). Great showing with cookie running for most touchdowns after a 5-0 and 3-2 wins

Also great to see our South Shields friends from the Doom League there, FEASTEATER (undead) and GINGER TAM (slann)

And also GBBL alumni BREAKMONKER flying high winning all 3 games, a one to watch for tomorrow!!

GBBL Season 33 has started. Since the new release of BB 2020 there have been a few players that have gained enough SPP and developed into Super stars. But there are only 4 players that have gained the status of LEGEND.

These Legends will now be available as Star Players and indeed any player that reached Legend will be available in future seasons.

Let’s introduce you to the legends.

⭐️Don_Vito Selected for Team England⭐️

The squad for Team England has been announced by Captain Wulfyn for this year’s Eurobowl in Hungary

Congratulations to Don_Vito on being selected for the Squad!

Although he is no longer an active coach in the Geordie Blood Bowl League he is a founding member of the league and the very first commissioner of the league (way back in 2007)

Dave is no stranger to Team England or international competition. He has played for team England before in Denmark (2012) and Portugal (2017). Portugal is particularly special as England finished as Eurobowl champions.

He certainly wasn’t a passenger in either of these teams as he boasts a fantastic WDL record of 8-2-3 (69.2% Win Rate).

The international accolades don’t end there, at the 2019 World Cup he won the award for best Dwarf Coach.

He has won 22 NAF tournaments over the years and has come runner up in many more .

Geordie Blood Bowl League will be cheering in Don_Vito and the rest of Team England at the Eurobowl!!!

🎶 Block on the Tyne is all mine 🎶 Block on the Tyne V: Enter the Coach is over for another year with SHIPAZ’s Wood Elves pipping PK FIRE to the post. It turns out a Hypnogaze coach was an inspired choice amongst the mighty blow, horns and claws.

Thank you everybody for coming for a full house. Great to see Blood Bowl thriving in the North East.
