Our Christmas treats are officially LIVE ON THE WEBSITE! 🎅🏼🎉

Our Christmas counter menu isn't quite ready for pre-order just yet! We'll be launching that in November, with your favourite cake slices, savouries and BFTS classics available to order throughout December. Because we know some of you simply can't survive December without your Battenburg fix! 😂

As always, everything is 100% GLUTEN FREE, with plenty of dairy-free and vegan options too! 💕

I wasn't going to do a Halloween box this year because, well… life is a little bit chaotic at the moment! 😂 Between a baby, a bakery and approximately 473 things on my to-do list, I thought I'd give it a miss.

BUT… I absolutely LOVE spooky season, and apparently I have zero self-control when it comes to creating delicious treats! 🩷🕸️

It was such a pleasure creating this fruitcake, finished in a fondant Lambeth-style design, for Friday’s celebrations at Dalton Pump House.

A style we’ve all seen and loved, but this time with a little BFTS twist… reimagined entirely in fondant! 🎂✨

It’s been a busy week for Team BFTS, so I’m spending today catching up on emails in between cuddles and naps with little Seb. 💌👶

Not another gluten-free brownie… 👀

We know the struggle. When “gluten-free” seems to mean brownie on every dessert menu. 😂

But fear not… we’re here to uplevel the brownie game. 🙌

Our S’mores Brownie starts with a seriously gooey chocolate brownie, baked with melted chocolate, then loaded with biscuit, marshmallow and those glorious swirls of caramel. 🤤🍫🔥

Basically… just a brownie was never going to cut it for us.

And let’s be honest, this month’s S’mores Brownie is pretty hard to ignore. 👀

12 years ago, this was just a hobby… 🥹🎂

A little throwback to when I was baking cakes for friends and family, while working full-time as a teacher and coaching cheerleading. Somehow, amongst all of that, I still found time to squeeze in a little cake making.

At the time, I never imagined where those cakes would eventually take me.

It would be another 6 years, and a whole lot of travelling halfway around the world 🌎, before I finally took the leap, left teaching and turned my love of baking into a full-time career.

And now, 12 years on, Bake for the Soul has been part of my life for 8 years. ❤️

Funny how one little cake hobby can turn into an entire chapter of your life.

Sometimes you really don’t know where the thing you love will take you. 🥹🎂✨
