Swapping scissors for dancing shoes! 💃✂️

Gabrial Daniels, owner of The Hair House, is taking on 2026 in memory of his mum, Lesley, to raise money for Dougie Mac.

Strictly Knot Dancing is a charity dance competition where 12 local contestants learn to dance and perform in front of a live audience to raise money for their chosen charity.

🙌 He’s already raised over £4,299 smashing his £4,000 target!

Castle Artisan Market turns SIX this Sunday 18th October and we’re helping celebrate with a Halloween Spooktacular Birthday Bash! 👻

Head to The Stones between 10am to 3pm for local makers, artists and creators, handmade finds, sweet treats, spooky eats and live music!

Extra fun will be brought with our mates at 6 Towns Radio, including:

Lymelight Festival is in the national spotlight! 🎶🏆

We’re delighted that Newcastle-under-Lyme BID has been shortlisted for Best Event at the National BID Awards 2027 for Lymelight Festival!

Over the past 13 years, our flagship festival has supported more than 700 local artists, filled the town with brilliant live music and brought plenty of bums to benches and pints to glasses 🍻

This year’s late May bank holiday celebration featured more than 50 artists across three town centre stages, including the 6 Towns Radio stage, with local venues keeping the music going throughout the weekend!

We’re incredibly proud to see one of our favourite events and the local talent that brings it to life, recognised nationally.

Here’s to making even more noise in 2027! 🙌

Join Newcastle-under-Lyme BID, Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council, Staffordshire Police and Councillor Andrew Fisher, Cabinet Member for Residents’ Services and Neighbourhoods, to:

👥 Hear updates on community safety
‼️ Raise concerns about crime and anti-social behaviour
👂 Find out about support and initiatives
🫶 Help shape priorities for our town centre

These quarterly meetings are a chance to hear directly from partners and share the issues that matter to you.
