✨Meringue Jane’s Sea Salt Butter Rolls ✨

Our table is glowing with another little creation

Drawing on the finesse of Japanese baking, these little rolls celebrate the beauty of getting the simplest things just right.

A delicate, crisp outer layer, a golden buttery base with a lovely crisp finish, and soft, fluffy layers within. Finished with a touch of sea salt to bring all those flavours together.

Some of the simplest things are often the hardest to perfect.

At Meringue Jane, we believe the details matter. The careful shaping and precise folds reflect the attention to detail I learned through my studies in art and craft in Japan, where patience and precision are an integral part of the process.

It is this same care that goes into every creation, taking familiar flavours and giving them the time and attention they deserve.

After a lovely season of making these little treats for thank-you gifts, we’ve decided to welcome them into our regular menu.

We honestly can’t believe how much everyone has loved them!
Some of you have even asked if they could be enjoyed beyond gifting, and that makes us so happy♡

With their warm, golden hues, they feel just right for the autumn and winter months ahead.
Golden and crisp on the outside, with a soft, chewy centre and a lovely buttery aroma.
