Hi Eveyone,
My name is Geniveve, the owner of Sweeter Than Honey Bakery and a university student. You might recognise that this used to be known as Davison's Bakery. I have been given the incredible opportunity to take it over and completey rebrand. My mission is to make sure that this business carries just as much heart for the community and can become your new go to!
With that being said, the past 7 months of preparation have come with so many setbacks and I really want to get up and running as soon as possible.

• Big butterscotch tarts, can be frozen for Christmas £20
• Big tropical flapjack again can be frozen for Christmas £20
• Sundried tomato bread
• Spelt and honey
• white crusty cobs
• 3 x baguettes
• there’s a few individual slices of plain and tropical flapjack left
• sausage rolls

Good Evening Everyone,

It is with a heavy heart that we have to inform you that this Saturday, 13th December 2025 will be the last market in Southwell and we will then be closing the bakery for good.

We started in the shop on Friday 13th December 2013 so it is exactly 12 years since opening the shop that we are closing.

As with every business we have had highs and lows, the last couple of years have been really tough and the time has come to call it a day and focus on other things now.

We would like to thank all our customers for your support and custom over the last 12 years.

We want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and best wishes for 2026 and beyond xx
