About me
Hi, my name is Barak. I'm a professional pastry chef from New Malden. I moved to the UK in 2009 to pursue my career in patisserie. I graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in 2010 and have worked for several years in leading London bakeries, such as Ottolenghi and Konditor & Cook, as a head pastry chef and as a production manager. In the last 3 years I have been focusing on my family whilst contin

uing to create and test my recipes and develop my baking and decorating classes. I have established my company, The Baking Party, in 2020 and I am looking forward to sharing my vision and products with you. The Baking Party is now fully registered with Kingston Council as a food business and was given a provisional food hygiene rating of 5 ✰✰✰✰✰! My vision
I love baking, I love teaching, I love cakes (who doesn't) and mostly enjoy infusing happiness into people's lives with my cakes. I believe in high standards and aesthetics and am proud to be using only high quality ingredients in my baking. I care about the environment, therefore, all our packaging materials are environmentally-friendly and are either recyclable or degradable. I care about what I do and thrive to provide the best care to my customers. Our services

- Small cakes & tarts (as featured in New Malden & Surbiton Farmers' Market)

Come and visit us at the King’s Head Car Park between 9:30am and 1:30pm and discover some of our handmade cakes and brownies.

For our first visit to TED’s Market, we’ve selected a collection of our best-selling cakes and treats that have become customer favourites. We’re looking forward to sharing them with you and meeting the wonderful Teddington community.

Whether you’re stopping by for your morning coffee, picking up treats for the weekend, or simply enjoying the market atmosphere, we’d love to say hello.

Chocolate Pistachio Financier- The Baking Party take on the classic French favourite.

Made with rich beurre noisette, almond, and dark chocolate, and crafted with loads of love. Finished with a pistachio mascarpone frosting, delicate dark chocolate shaving curls, and pistachio halva for that perfect balance of flavour and texture.
